URJ Leadership Mission - temporary government offices in Slidell
In Slidell, LA on the Northshore of Lake Ponchartrain, temporary government offices are in trailers. This photograph was taken in April, 2006, when twenty leaders from Reform congregations across the country came to New Orleans for a leadership mission. Participants visited local Reform congregations, met with Jewish leaders and government officials, and learned about some of the ongoing problems in the region.
