Katrina’s Jewish Voices

This is a thank you letter from a client who relocated to Atlanta after Katrina. He ended up in Atlanta because he had a sister who lived here also. He had been through several agencies which had provided little help. Jewish Family and Career Services was able to assist him getting settled in Atlanta.

"First-hand Report" was written by Steven J. Edelstein, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Nasvhille and Middle Tennessee. The article is about a trip that Jewish Family Service Executive Director Jeff Fladen took to the Gulf Coast on October 5-9, 2005.

"Katrina Aftermath: Report form Biloxi, Mississippi" was written by Steven J. Edelstein and was published in The Jewish Observer, a Publicaion of the Jewish Federaton of Nashville, on October 14, 2005. This article is about Steven's experience in Mississippi, where he went to interview 20-25 Jewish families from the Gulf Coast and to offer assistance. Steven J. Edelstein is executive director of the Jewish Federation of Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
