Mold-covered Bedroom

This photograph shows a bedroom in Susan Glazer's house on Cameo Street in New Orleans. The photo shows how mold and mildew permeated everything, including books and all the cloth-covered or upholstered furniture. Susan managed to save a lot of pictures on the walls, a lot of clothing, and some kitchen items. Susan moved to Pompano Beach, FL after Katrina, but her son stayed in New Orleans to renovate the house and live there.
