Chabad clothing drive

Ruined Closet

This photograph shows a ruined closet inside Susan Glazer's house on Cameo Street in New Orleans. Mold and mildew permeated everything in the house, including all the cloth-covered or upholstered furniture. Susan managed to save a lot of pictures on the walls, a lot of clothing, and some kitchen items. Susan moved to Pompano Beach, FL after Katrina, but her son stayed in New Orleans to renovate the house and live there.

Destroyed Copy of Diary of Anne Frank

This photograph was taken in the destroyed bedroom of a Jewish teenage girl in Lakeview. It is a close up of her ruined belongings piled on her bed. You can see a copy of the Diary of Anne Frank and an Ugg boot, among other clothes and books.
