Tzedek Means Justice
This is a picture of the Hillel alternative spring break logo, with the phrase, "Tzedek Means Justice," written bellow, on the wall of a building across the street from the gulf on Hwy. 90 in Gulfport, Mississippi. People had written messages on the wall remembering the storm. This picture was taken by University of Kansas Hillel program director Matt Lehrman in March, 2006. He was part of a group of hundreds of college students and staff members from Hillels across the country that spent their winter or spring breaks in Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi, repairing homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
