The Gatchell Home and Hurricane Katrina

This story, titled "The Gatchell Home and Hurricane Katrina... as one door closes..." appeared in the Fall 2005 "Tools for Living," a publication of Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta. This story describes how evacuees of Katrina in Atlanta were able to benefit (in the form of beds and other household items, for example) from the closing of the Gatchell Home, a 24-hour care facility for people with developmental and physical disbilities.
