This is a photograph of a University of Virginia Hillel student removing a piece of rotted wall in a New Orleans home that had been severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. University of Virginia Hillel students took two week-long relief trips in the spring of 2006: one to Mississippi in March, and one to New Orleans in May. This photograph was taken on May 27, 2006, and was originally posted on the University of Virginia Hillel blog at http://uvahillel.blogspot.com.
